Natural Gas Storage Posts First Triple Digit Injection

Posted by

On Thursday, the Energy Information Administration reported 104 Bcf of natural gas was injected into storage in the week to May 21, above most estimates, though still 2 Bcf less than the same week a year ago.  A total of 30 Bcf of the surplus to 2009 has been erased over the past month and with upcoming heat centered on the eastern ISO’s, builds for the first part of June are expected to remain smaller than those seen in 2009.
