VirtuWatt, Constellation Energy's online energy management application, has made the final list of nominations for this year's Platts Global Energy Award for Commercial Technology of the Year. The dashboard for the application, when it originally launched, is shown above.
Awesome news! My colleagues and I were recently notified by the Platts Global Energy Awards team regarding Constellation Energy’s designation as a finalist for the 2010 Commercial Technology of the Year Award for VirtuWatt™, our online energy management application.
We couldn’t be more excited. Since we launched VirtuWatt in May, we’ve heard many compelling stories from our customers about how our innovative energy management tool has made monitoring and curtailing energy usage significantly easier.
Constellation Energy has also been selected as a finalist for the Construction Project of the Year Award.
Finalists for this year’s Platts Global Awards were chosen from a list of more than 200 nominations for each category’s criteria and selected based on performance within the designated timeframe. Constellation Energy has been selected among energy companies representing 20 other countries worldwide.
Platts, headquartered in New York, is a leading global provider of energy and commodities information, providing real-time news, pricing, analysis, and conferences to help markets operate with transparency and efficiency.
Winners will be announced on December 2 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. Stay tuned to see if we win!
