Today, Constellation Energy announced that we have completed our acquisition of MXenergy, a leading natural gas and electricity provider with approximately 540,000 customers in the U.S. and Canada. This acquisition will more than double the size of Constellation Energy’s business, residential, and public sector customer base and expand the company’s mass market presence to include the 15 states and two Canadian provinces where MXenergy supplies gas and electricity to residential and small commercial customers.
As this development further broadens our geographic footprint, we are especially thrilled to have the opportunity to combine our commitment to quality customer service with the broad wealth of experience and talent that MXenergy has provided to its customers throughout the United States and Canada for more than 11 years.
