VirtuWatt helps our customers manage and analyze energy usage, with an easy-to-use dashboard that enables businesses to implement cost-saving energy strategies and automate participation in demand response programs. The latest release of VirtuWattMobile includes a variety of upgrades, enabling our customers to take advantage of ISO program incentives in all regional ISOs.
Key features of the VirtuWattMobile app include:
Easy acess to real-time energy consumption data: VirtuWattMobile connects directly to a customer’s energy meter to provide real-time power usage information at a single-site location or across facilities, including the information our customers need to place bids and monitor monthly energy usage. The app provides pricing information and monitors energy consumption levels, which have helped our customers reduce costs by effectively managing energy usage.
Up-to-the-minute pricing information: Customers with an Index or Block & Index electricity plan can use the app to take advantage of pricing information to adjust bids and usage.
Market insight: Customers can use the app to gain market insight, enabling them to streamline processes and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their business.
The ability to automate demand response systems: Our customers have saved time and resources by using automated load control and automated demand response systems to identify demand reduction strategies at critical times. Our customers in both regulated and deregulated markets can use the app to automatically respond to price changes/and or grid conditions and efficiently address issues such as grid reliability and emergency demand response.
Simple building automation: VirtuWattMobile can function as a customer’s “building remote control,” providing the ability to turn on and off equipment, adjust temperature set-points, and more.
