Constellation’s $1 Million Grant Will Support Teach For America’s Mission

Yesterday, Constellation announced a $1 million grant that will directly support Teach For America’s (TFA) work in Baltimore over the next four years. The grant will be used by TFA to help recruit, train and support its corps members in the classroom. The funds will also be used to further develop the ongoing leadership of the program’s alumni, who work in teaching, school leadership and other fields that address poverty and expand educational opportunity.…

Public-Private Collaboration Necessary to Ease Procurement Challenges

Last week in Washington D.C., I participated in a panel discussion at the Climate Leadership Conference sponsored by The Climate Registry, the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions and the Association of Climate Change Officers, which convened industry leaders from business, government and academia committed to addressing global climate change through policy, innovation and business solutions.

At the conference, I had the opportunity to join representatives from the Coca-Cola Company and Optony for a discussion moderated by Blaine Collision, who leads the Green Power Partnership Program at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
