Constellation Electric recently collaborated with the United Way of Central Maryland (UWCM) to provide its supporters with the opportunity to save on their electric bills while helping UWCM provide essential human services throughout the region. Every time a UWCM supporter signs up for a Constellation Electric fixed price plan, he or she can save up to 7 percent (compared to BGE’s current weighted average price of Standard Offer Service electricity), and Constellation Electric will make a contribution to 2-1-1 Maryland at United Way of Central Maryland.
When a Maryland resident dials 2-1-1, UWCM’s call center is there to answer the call for help. 2-1-1 staff have a wealth of information to address a variety of health and human service issues at their fingertips, allowing them to help callers get connected to the help they need.
