We are thrilled to officially welcome our MXenergy community under the Constellation brand beginning tomorrow. Customers that are used to transacting with or searching through MXenergy online will now be able to do so on Constellation’s website: www.constellation.com.
We see this transition as an extension of our combined commitment to superior customer care and reliability. It is also a visual representation of the merger of our two companies, which has been in effect since July 2011.
We took our time merging all of our operations to make sure the transition would be smooth for our customers. And now, we’re ready!
While the MXenergy name will be changing, there is plenty that is not changing, including:
– Contracts & Accounts – Natural gas and/or electricity service will continue without interruption and the only changes legacy MXenergy customers will see on price plans, terms or conditions is the reference to Constellation instead of MXenergy. Customers will be able to access their accounts through the My Account feature on www.constellation.com.
– Rates – Customers that are currently on a fixed rate will remain on that fixed rate. Variable rate plan customers will continue to receive a different rate every month based on market conditions.
– Billing/Payments – Payments will be made to Constellation, but sent to the same address currently on the monthly invoice. Customers that are making payments through a bank’s online bill payment application will need to update the biller’s name to Constellation. Similar to all automatic payment programs, Constellation will appear on your bank statement.
– Best-In-Class Customer Service – Customers will receive the same trusted customer service and reliability that they have been used to.
The one thing that has changed is that effective tomorrow MXenergy product, service, and account information will now be accessible online at www.constellation.com.
