Managing total energy cost over time requires an energy strategy focused on quantity as well as price. Energy conservation measures can go a long way toward lowering energy consumption and associated costs. However, some businesses and organizations find it challenging to finance energy efficiency projects for a variety of reasons, often due to a lack of capital dollars available.
