2 min readOn November 15th, Constellation hosted its 2022 Executive Energy Forum (EEF) where energy industry experts gathered in person discussing innovations, trends, and technologies impacting energy manager’s procurement strategies.
“The Future of Energy”
Jim McHugh, Chief Commercial Officer – Constellation, and moderator Ed Fortunato, Chief Economist – Constellation, kicked off the forum with the “Future of Energy” Fireside Chat, a conversational session that examined how Europe’s energy crisis emphasized the importance of reliable, affordable, and clean energy. The duo then discussed technologies that promotes clean energy and how companies can adopt them into their strategy for reliability—especially given the market’s foreseeable volatility.
Advancements in Energy Technology
Jorge Acevedo, Constellation’s own SVP Commercialization & Development moderated a discussion between three CEOs: Tom Samson of Rolls-Royce SMR, Pier LaFarge of Sparkfund, and Bryce Smith of LevelTen Energy as they outline their respective companies’ technology and their range of use. They also shared clean energy solutions for retail energy and how Constellation customers can implement them in the future.

Jeff Blankman, Sustainable Manufacturing Manager of McCormick, John Failla, Founder & CEO of Smart Energy Decisions, and Brent Redeker, the LEED AP and Director of Property Assessments, IRG are the drivers of a discussion on how companies can establish—and achieve—their sustainability goals. Moderated by Constellation’s SVP Power, Mass Markets & Solution Sales, Dan Verbanac, these industry leaders recount how their teams navigated tumultuous world events over the past few years, the future of sustainability practices and carbon-free energy matching.
