Constellation Energy Officially Joins Exelon Corporation

Constellation Energy was welcomed into the Exelon family of companies, creating the nation’s leading competitive energy provider with one of the industry’s cleanest and lowest-cost power generation fleets. This combined company’s substantial, low-cost, and environmentally friendly generation fleet and industry-leading customer-facing business creates a platform for continuing growth and innovation.

The combination will integrate two complementary upstream and downstream businesses, giving us the potential to optimize value throughout the company. Both Exelon and Constellation have demonstrated their commitment to sustainability and competitive markets, helping drive innovation, efficiency, customer choice and better rates. Together, we will be an even stronger advocate for achieving these ideals.

Over the next several months, we will be working to integrate our systems, people and processes while ensuring a seamless and valuable customer experience. As such, the following will remain the same:

— The competitive retail and wholesale supply business is retaining the Constellation name. Our phone numbers and email addresses remain the same. Constellation’s customers can still manage their accounts and get product information at

— Customers that have accounts currently served by both Constellation and Exelon Energy will continue to be served by Constellation and Exelon Energy respectively until sales and operations efforts are integrated.

— Brands operating under Constellation Energy will continue to include Constellation NewEnergy, Constellation NewEnergy Gas Division, MXenergy, StarTex Power, ONEOK Energy Marketing, and BGE Home.
